Mufasa is the father of Simba and the mate of Sarabi. He was killed in a stampede in the first movie by his own brother, Scar, who was jealous of him being king.
My thoughts about Mufasa
Mufasa was a great king, father and mate. He had a heart as big as the savannah. (I guess you already knew that.
) He seldom got mad, and when he did, he was never mad for long. Everyone in the Pride Lands loved and respected him. He was very wise and taught Simba a lot. He was very brave, and it only took a minute or two for him to fight off the hyenas, who were terrified of him. Simba admired him for this.

Sarabi is the mate of Mufasa and the mother of Simba. She is a good friend of Sarafina and helps the pride during Scar's reign. She was very brave through it all!
My thoughts about Sarabi Sarabi is a loving mate and mother. She is very wise, gentle, and kind. I imagine she was a very good hunter, and helped teach Nala how to hunt. She is a lot like Sarafina, she doesn't talk a whole lot, she's sweet, and loving. Simba's father is killed by Simba's uncle Scar, Mufasa's own brother, in a stampede, then Simba runs away and grows up in the jungle with Timon and Pumbaa, then returns to the Pride Lands and takes his place as king. My thoughts about Simba Simba is my favorite TLK character. I love him mainly because he is so cute as a cub (I even have a stuffed cub Simba that was a gift from a friend, making it very special to me), but I also love him because he is really cool as a teenager, and he's sweet as an adult. Sure, he was way overprotective of Kiara, but that's because he didn't want to lose her like he lost Kopa. If there's really a TLK 3 coming out next January, I hope Simba and Nala don't die in it! Sarafina is the mother of Nala and in my opinion, her mate is a lion named Chisan. Sarafina is not very popular, and she has one line each in TLK and Simba's Pride. She does not have any lines in TLK 1 1/2, she doesn't even appear! But she is an important character and the pride would be nothing without her. She helped defend Pride Rock and keep the pride alive during Scar's reign, along with Sarabi and the other lionesses. My thoughts about Sarafina Sarafina is one of my favorite characters. Most of the time I can't tell her and the others apart. But I know which one she is right after the stampede because Nala is with her. And Nala was sleeping with her (duh!) when Simba was trying to wake Mufasa. One of the first times I watched the Lion King, I could tell right away that she and Sarabi were friends. My brother Marty says Sarafina's really wise and has the best ideas for Nala. I agree. She's a very good member of the pride. I like her a lot. Don't you? Like Sarabi, she is an excellent queen and a great mom. She left to find help during Scar's reign and, finding Simba, she saved the pride! (Well, Rafiki helped too, but that's another story.) My thoughts about Nala As a cub, Nala was a lot like Simba. She loved playing and wrestling with him. She was very cute too, just like Simba! I think she was really smart, too, because once I was taking a TLK personality quiz and I decided to have fun with it and pick all the answers that I thought would be the smartest, and I ended up with Nala. As an adult, Nala is very sweet, caring and wise. Unlike Simba, she knows that Kiara is always safe when she's out playing, and she gives her daughter the freedom she needs, even after Kopa's death. Kopa is the firstborn son of Simba and Nala who sadly died before Kiara was born. Kopa is the cub you see at the end of The Lion King and is never mentioned in Simba's Pride because it would be too sad. This paragraph is different than the others since Kopa sadly had no lines, so he won't have any quotes like the rest of them do. But there is a fan-fiction story I wrote about what I think happened to him. It also tells of the birth of Kiara. My thoughts about Kopa I think Kopa was a really cute lion cub. I think he loved playing, exploring and pouncing. He looked forward to being king. He was friends with Vitani and Kovu. When he died, it hit Vitani very hard, and she became bitter. Kopa was just like Simba when his father was his age, and Simba was protective of him because of that. Of course, because of Kopa's death he was way overprotective of Kiara because he didn't want to lose her too. I think Kopa was very good friends with Timon and Pumbaa, and they were very upset when he died. It had probably been just like parenting Simba in the jungle when he was a cub for them. But mostly Zazu babysat Kopa. I don't know how Zazu felt when Kopa died, probably sad too, but maybe a bit happy because he wouldn't be pounced on. All his life he was trained to kill Simba, but when he grew up, he fell in love with Kiara and didn't want to have anything to do with the plan. She grows up to look a lot like Zira and it's very easy to get them confused. But here's way to tell them apart: Vitani has a little fuzz on her head like a male cub (LOL)! Vitani wasn't necessarily a bad guy, it's just that she became bitter when Kopa died, then at the end of the movie she became nice again. So I suppose she is good. My thoughts about Vitani Vitani is kinda cute as a cub. I have no idea if she liked Nuka or not, but I know she liked Kovu a lot. She was a lot like Zira, only she paid a whole lot more attention to Nuka. She used to be very nice, but when Kopa died she wasn't so nice, then 5 years later when she joined the Prideland pride, she became nice again. The bad guys
Scar is the uncle of Simba and great-uncle of Kiara. He was very jealous of Mufasa being king and all that stuff, so he thought of a plan. The next day he killed his brother in a stampede, forced Simba to run away and took over the Pride Lands. He wasn't a very good king, and he was very mean to everyone, so Simba came back and took his place as king and everything got better.
My thoughts about Scar
Actually, I think Scar is really cool! He is also very funny. I have found many funny and cool pictures of him online. He is also very funny in the movie. He is extremely confident about everything (except when Simba came back and when he was about to die), and I like him for that too. I didn't like it when he killed Mufasa, though. And he is terrible for trying to kill little Simba!

Zira is the mother of Kovu, Vitani and Nuka, she was a follower of Scar, and she is the murderer of Kopa. Like her 3 cubs, her pride, and Kiara, she only appears in Simba's Pride. Because Simba banished them to the Outlands, she tried to take over the Pride Lands, but in the end she drowned in the river.
My thoughts about Zira Zira is really creepy, she's a lot like Scar, she's rather pathetic. Yet she is funny, and her facial expressions frequently have me laughing out loud! Friends
Timon is the meerkat who is Pumbaa's best friend, caused chaos in the meerkat colony he used to live in, and played a big role in raising Simba and helping him fight for his kingdom. Timon also helped babysit Kopa (every once in a while because mostly Zazu did) and keep an eye on Kiara when she went out to play. He was the first friend Pumbaa ever had, and Pumbaa was the first friend he ever had. My thoughts about Timon
Timon is really cool, like Scar. I used to be a Timonaholic because he is hilarious, but now I'm more of a Simbaholic because Simba is so cute (as a cub anyway).
Timon cares about Simba a lot. In The Lion King 1 1/2, he agreed to rescue Simba even though he was a carnivore, he took Simba to the bathroom and the water hole in the night even though he was so tired, and he helped Simba fight for his kingdom, even though I just know he would rather get Simba back and continue living in the jungle. Timon is so awesome!
And I feel happy for Timon, because he wanted to go to "the big pointy rock," but ended up living in the jungle, but then, in Simba's Pride, he did end up living there!

Pumbaa is the warm-hearted warthog who was the first friend Timon ever had, and Timon was the first friend he ever had. Pumbaa helped Timon raise Simba and helped Simba fight for his kingdom. He stays safe and away from predators using his flatulence. My thoughts about Pumbaa Pumbaa is really funny, and I like it the way he's so sympathetic. It was his idea to rescue Simba, and he was the one who wanted to go bowling for buzzards in the first place!
